• Are not responsible for any decisions made based on User Content

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wine & Dine Athens, Symposion Dionysou, Braggers Club, their officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, business, or goodwill
• Any damages arising from reliance on User Content
• Any claims, demands, or actions brought by third parties

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which such liability is asserted, including negligence, contract, tort, or any other basis.

Establishment Rights & Appeals Process

We respect the legitimate interests of establishments featured on our platform. If you are an owner, manager, or authorized representative of an establishment and believe that a review:

• Contains false statements of fact (not mere opinions)
• Was not based on an actual visit to your establishment
• Contains defamatory content that goes beyond fair criticism
• Violates applicable laws or our community guidelines

You may submit an appeal for review by contacting us at appeals@winedine.gr with the following information:

1. Your full name and position at the establishment
2. The name and address of the establishment
3. A link to the specific review(s) in question
4. A detailed explanation of why you believe the review should be investigated
5. Any supporting evidence (e.g., reservation records, CCTV footage timestamps)

Review Process

Upon receiving an appeal, we will:

1. Acknowledge receipt of your appeal within 5 business days
2. Conduct an internal investigation, which may include contacting the reviewer
3. Evaluate the evidence provided by both parties
4. Make a determination at our sole discretion
5. Notify you of our decision within 30 business days

Important: We retain absolute discretion in all content moderation decisions. Our decision is final and not subject to further appeal. We are under no obligation to remove content that constitutes legitimate opinion or fair comment, even if unflattering to an establishment.

We will not remove reviews simply because they are negative. Negative opinions, when genuinely held and based on actual experiences, are protected expression. We will only consider removal in cases of demonstrable fraud, false factual statements, or clear violations of our guidelines.

Contributor Responsibilities

Contributors to this platform agree to:

• Only review establishments they have personally visited
• Provide honest opinions based on their genuine experience
• Distinguish between facts and opinions in their reviews
• Refrain from posting defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content
• Disclose any conflicts of interest or relationships with establishments

Intellectual Property

Contributors retain ownership of their original content but grant Wine & Dine Athens a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute their content on our platforms.

Governing Law

This disclaimer and any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) and the applicable regulations of the European Union. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

Changes to This Disclaimer
